Add Income/Outcome

The Add Income/Outcome action allows creating a new estimate within the selected voyage. Estimates represent planned income or outcome related to the deal and can optionally have an accrual linked to them.

The action is available as a dedicated button in each list:

• Add Income

  in the Income list;

• Add Outcome

  in the Outcome list.

The same functionality is also available through the context menu using the Create Income/Outcome action.

Estimate Creation Form

When the action is triggered, the estimate creation form opens. This form is used to define the main parameters of the planned income or outcome and, if necessary, link an accrual to the estimate.

The form includes the following fields:

• Type: Type of income or outcome. The available values correspond to invoice types defined in the Accounting Module. Default values depend on the list where the estimate is created:

  • Income → Freight.

  • Outcome → Miscellaneous.

• Estimated: Estimated amount for the income or outcome.

• E. Currency: Currency in which the estimated amount is specified.

• Comment: Text comment describing the estimate.

• Accrual (Invoice): Allows linking an accrual to the estimate.

For estimates with the Miscellaneous type, an additional field becomes available:

• Subtype: Subtype of the miscellaneous entry, configured in the Miscellaneous tab for invoices in the Accounting Module.
