Accounting Module

The Accounting Module is designed to manage a company's financial operations. It handles invoicing and tracking of goods/ services, records payments with breakdowns by bank accounts, assigns payments to invoices, and displays summarized statistics for different types of transactions, counterparties, vessels, and voyages.

This module is the central financial tool in the system, and its core functions are used by other modules related to financial operations:

  • Cargo Module: Freight invoices, their tracking, and linking to payments.

  • Port Agent Module: Disbursement accounts, their tracking, and linking to payments.

  • Voyage Module: Linking bunkering invoices to daily bunkering reports.

  • Deals Module: Tracking invoices and payments in deals.

To summarize, the Accounting Module keeps track of all money-related activities, such as creating invoices, recording payments, and generating financial reports. It works with other modules to ensure all financial data is connected and up to date.
