How to Create a Payment

The following methods are available for creating Payments:

  1. Automatically imported from bank statements using the Parse Bank Statement action;

    • This method not only creates payment records but can also automatically link them to matching invoices (only invoices, not other types of accruals, are supported).

  2. Manually via the Clone a Payment feature;

  3. From an invoice card using the Pay Invoice button (automatically fills in relevant fields);

  4. Manually within the system using the Create a Payment button on the toolbar (a coins icon with a plus sign);

  5. Manually via the context menu by right-clicking any payment entry in the list;

  6. Manually within the system through the Module static actions panel, accessible by clicking the button in the top-right corner of the main TOR interface.

Payment Creation Parameters

When creating a payment, a window appears prompting to select the Payment Type (not Payment Purpose). The following types are available:

  • External: Payment between the own company (from the admin panel) and an external counterparty.

  • Internal: Payment between two of the own companies, or between accounts of the same company.

  • Cash Operation: Cash transaction (only available for cash-type accounts).

Once a payment is created, its type cannot be changed.
