Declaration

The Declaration is a mandatory customs document containing essential cargo information required for port and customs authorities. It includes basic freight data only and does not contain shipper or consignee addresses, container numbers, or seal details.

Declaration Report: Preview

After selecting the required bills of lading and confirming the generation, the Declaration preview form is displayed. The document consists of a header section and a data table with cargo details.

Header Information

The header contains the following fields:

  • Name of Ship: Vessel assigned to the selected voyage.

  • Name of Master: Vessel master name specified during document generation.

  • Nationality of Ship: Vessel flag state based on voyage data.

  • Port of Loading / Port of Discharging: Port names, displayed as a comma-separated list.

    • The ‘Port of Discharging’ field is currently not populated.

Declaration Table Structure

The table includes the following columns:

  • BL: Bill of lading number.

  • Kind of Cargo: Cargo descriptions from the Cargo tab of the bill of lading, listed sequentially.

    • For containerized cargo, container numbers are prefixed with LOADED INTO 40'RH.

  • Quantity of Packages: Number of packages per cargo item.

  • Quantity of Pallets: Number of pallets per cargo item.

  • Gross Weight, kgs: Gross weight per cargo item.
