Generate Documents Feature

The Generate Documents action is used to create standardized shipping documents based on voyage and cargo data. The following document types are supported:

  • Manifest

  • Declaration

  • Container Manifest

  • Container Declaration

Accessing the Generate Documents Action

  1. Open the toolbar context menu using the More Actions button (three dots ).

  2. Select the Generate Documents feature.

  3. Choose the required document type from the context menu.

  4. A configuration window opens, allowing document parameters to be defined before generation.

Document Configuration

Each document type is generated through a unified dialog window. Available fields and sections depend on the selected document.

Header Parameters

The header section defines voyage- and cargo-level parameters:

  • Voyage: Voyage selected from the dropdown list.

  • Type: Cargo direction (available only for Manifest generation).

  • POL / POD: Port selection filtered by the selected voyage (available only for Manifest generation).

    • Export — POL (Port of Loading).

    • Import — POD (Port of Discharge).

  • Master Name: Name of the vessel master.

  •  Add Seal to Container: When enabled, the container number is displayed together with its seal number in parentheses (applies only to Manifest documents).

    • The checkbox state is stored per account and automatically applied to subsequent document generations.

Bills of Lading Selection

This section contains the list of bills of lading included in the document and provides management actions:

  • — Opens a selection window displaying bills of lading that meet all of the following criteria:

    • Status is Approved, Draft, Sent, or Wait;

    • Linked to the selected voyage;

    • Filtered by POL (Export) or POD (Import) according to the selected Type (Manifest documents only).

  • — Removes the selected bill of lading from the list.
