Container Declaration

The Container Declaration is a mandatory customs document presenting cargo data at container level. It includes container numbers with corresponding cargo descriptions, quantities, and weights and is used in simplified customs clearance procedures.

Container Declaration Report: Preview

After selecting the required bills of lading and confirming the generation, the Container Declaration preview form is displayed. The document consists of a header section and a container-oriented data table.

Header Information

The header includes the following fields:

  • Name of Ship: Vessel assigned to the selected voyage.

  • Name of Master: Vessel master name specified during document generation.

  • Nationality of Ship: Vessel flag state based on voyage data.

  • Port of Loading / Port of Discharging: Port names, displayed as a comma-separated list.

    • The ‘Port of Discharging’ field is currently not populated.

Container Declaration Table Structure

The table contains the following columns:

  • BL: Bill of lading number.

  • Kind of Cargo: Cargo descriptions from the Cargo tab, displayed sequentially.

  • Transport Container (TC) Number: Container identification code.

  • Quantity of Packages: Number of packages per cargo item.

  • Gross Weight, kgs: Gross weight per cargo item.
