Charter-Party

The Charter-Party tab is used to store information about vessel charter agreements related to the voyage. This tab contains a list of charter-party records linked to the voyage.

Available Actions

The following standard actions are available in the action panel:

1. Add Charterparty — Creates a new charter-party record.

2. Edit Selected — Opens the selected charter-party record for editing.

3. Delete Selected — Removes the selected charter-party record.

Charter-Party Details

When adding or editing a charter-party record, a separate window opens with the following fields:

• Charter Date: The date when the charter agreement was concluded.

• Charter Type: The type of charter agreement. Available values:

  • None — No charter type selected;

  • Time Charter — Vessel hired for a defined period of time;

  • Voyage Charter — Vessel hired for a specific voyage;

  • Bareboat — Vessel hired without crew or management.

• Charterer: The chartering company (selected from the company directory).

• Charter Number: The charter agreement reference number (free-text field).
