Remark Selected

The Remark Selected subfunction allows renaming a selected container from the list and automatically creates an Event to log the change.

Upon clicking , a window opens with two input fields:

  • Container â„–: The new name to assign to the selected container.

  • Date: The renaming date (defaults to the current date). This value will be saved in the Date field of the created event.

This action is not available for containers in Sold or None status.

Result of Applying Remark Selected

After clicking button:

  • The CNTR field of the selected container is updated with the new name.

  • The previous container name appears in the Ex-Number field of the Container card.

  • A new event object of type ‘Remarked’ is created with the specified date.

Validation Rule

The new container name must follow the format XXXX1234567 (4 Latin letters followed by 7 digits). If the entered value is invalid, the input field is highlighted and the message "Invalid format name" is displayed.

Container Data in Event Card

The Containers tab within the related Event card displays the following:

  • The ‘Containers Before Event’ subtab displays the container data prior to renaming.

  • The ‘Containers After Event’ subtab shows the updated container data.
