Change Status

The Change Status action, available in the toolbar, allows updating the status of selected containers and related properties.

  • Access to the Change Status form requires selecting at least one container in the List of Containers.

Change Status Form Overview

The form includes the following main elements:

  • Status — Dropdown menu for selecting the target status.

  • Date — The selected date will be used to create a new Container Event reflecting the status change.

  • Containers List — Displays the containers selected in the main List of Containers.

  • Unaffected Containers List — Containers that cannot be moved to the selected status (automatically filled after status is chosen).

Once a status is selected:

  • The Containers List will show only the containers eligible for this status.

  • The Unaffected Containers List will show containers that cannot be changed to the selected status.

  • Additional fields may appear depending on the selected status.

Status-Specific Field Behavior

LEASED

Additional fields appear:

  • Lease Agreement: Select a lease agreement. After applying the status, these containers will appear in the Containers tab of the selected lease. The ‘Lease Agreement’ field in the container will also be updated.

  • Port: Selected from the port library.

  • Terminal: Available terminals based on selected port.

  • Own field will be set to Lease.

PURCHASED

  • Port and Terminal fields remain available.

  • Lease agreement will be removed from the container.

  • Own field will be set to Own.

  • Lessee and Voyage fields will be cleared.

  • Port and Terminal will be set based on dropdown selections.

STUFFED

Additional fields appear:

  • Connected: True / False / Do not change.

  • CA: True / False / Do not change.

  • Cargo: Sets the cargo value.

  • Full (F/E) checkbox will be enabled.

  • Port / Terminal Filter: Optional filter for narrowing down the container list before applying the status.

UNSTUFFED

Same fields as Stuffed, except:

  • Cargo is hidden.

  • Full (F/E) checkbox will be cleared automatically.

GATE OUT

  • Only the Port / Terminal Filter is available.

  • No other fields; containers are simply moved to this status.

GATE IN/ FROM SUBLEASE

  • Port and Terminal fields appear.

  • Voyage and Lessee fields are cleared.

  • Port and Terminal are set from the dropdowns.

TO REPAIR

Additional fields:

  • Gear Damaged: True / False / Do not change.

  • Construction Damaged: True / False / Do not change.

  • Port / Terminal Filter is available.

TOTAL LOST

  • No additional fields.

  • Own set to Own.

  • Lease Agreement cleared.

  • Construction Damaged and Gear Damaged checkboxes are marked.

SOLD

  • Port / Terminal Filter available.

  • Own field cleared.

REDELIVERED

  • Port / Terminal Filter available.

  • Own field cleared.

  • Lease agreement removed from the container.

TO SUBLEASE

  • Lease Agreement dropdown is shown.

  • Port / Terminal Filter is available.

  • Full (F/E), CA, and Connected checkboxes are cleared.

  • After applying the status, these containers will appear in the Containers tab of the selected lease. The ‘Lease Agreement’ field in the container will also be updated.

STOP

  • Port / Terminal Filter is available.

  • Full (F/E), CA, and Connected checkboxes are cleared.

SHIPPER OWN CONTAINER

  • Port and Terminal selection (no filter).

  • Own field set to ShipperOwn.

  • Port and Terminal values will match the selected dropdown values.

Confirmation and Execution

After clicking , the system will ask for confirmation. Once confirmed:

  • Containers from the Containers List will be updated to the selected status.

  • A new Container Event will be created for each container, reflecting the status change and date.

    • The event will include all affected containers.

Validation

All fields except the Port / Terminal Filter are subject to validation.

Additional Functions

  1. Delete (in the Containers List): Removes selected containers from the list (only from the selection, not from the system).

  2. Copy to Clipboard (in the Unaffected Containers List): Copies container numbers to the clipboard.

  3. Import from Excel: Allows importing containers from .xls or .csv files.

    • The system prompts to select the column containing container numbers.

    • Containers found in the file and in the system will appear in the list.

    • If a status is already selected, containers will be distributed between Containers and Unaffected Containers accordingly.
