Merge Invoices
The Merge Invoices action is used to combine several related invoices issued to the same client into a single Master Invoice. This action is available in the More Actions submenu.
The master invoice becomes the main payment document, and the debts of the child invoices are settled automatically through internal reconciliation payments.
Although master invoices can be created manually (see How to Create an Invoice article), the Merge Invoices action provides a simplified and structured process for creating them.

Process Overview
After the action is started, a three-step interface opens:
Searching and selecting invoices to include in the master invoice;
Reviewing transferred payments and allocating funds;
Previewing the prepared master invoice.
Step-by-Step Interface

Invoices can be merged into a master invoice only if they meet the following conditions:

Proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Payments and Funds Allocation
At this step, payments and attached documents from the selected child invoices are collected and prepared for transfer to the master invoice. Funds allocation between payments and child invoices can also be adjusted.
This step contains three blocks:
Payments Transferred to Master
Payments moved from child invoices to the master invoice. Their funds are redistributed from the master invoice using reconciliation entries.
Funds Allocation to Child Invoices
Distribution of payment funds between child invoices.
Allocation can be edited through the
AllocatedandDebt Coveragecolumns.The logic is the same as in the Services tab of the master invoice.
Transferred Documents
Attached documents copied from child invoices.
These documents remain in the child invoices and are also consolidated in the master invoice.

Step 3: Master Invoice Preview
At this step, the system prepares the master invoice in a temporary state.
The invoice is not yet saved in the system.
A preview of the master invoice is displayed, and adjustments can be made if required.

Completing the Process
Click to create the master invoice and apply the corresponding changes to the child invoices.
After the invoices are linked as child invoices, they cannot be included in other master invoices until they are detached from the current one.
