Geofence

The Geofence tab is used to configure automatic notifications when a container is discharged at specific ports. Notifications are sent to selected users. Port and recipient settings are defined individually for each container on this tab.

Geofence Configuration Fields

The tab includes the following fields:

  • Geofence: Checkbox that enables or disables the notification feature for the container.

  • Geofence Ports: Defines the ports that trigger a notification when the container is discharged there (multi-select).

  • Users: List of TOR system users who will receive the notification.

How Geofence Notifications Work

To trigger a geofence notification, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Voyage Module
Locate the voyage that includes the container.

  2. Discharge the Container
Use the button to unload the container at a port listed in the Geofence Ports field. The Select Container window will open, where the necessary containers for discharge must be chosen.

  3. Save the Voyage
Once saved, the system checks the port of discharge.

  4. Notification is Sent
Users listed under the Users field on the container's Geofence tab receive the following message:

"Containers with active Geofence option have been discharged in port [PORT_NAME]. You can find them in folder Geofence in Cabinet."

  5. Container is Added to a Special Folder
The container is automatically placed in the Geofence folder, found in the Containers Module under ‘Cabinet’ module object.
