Container Status Matrix
Container statuses track the operational state of containers, ensuring visibility and control from initial commissioning to final delivery or removal from the fleet.
The system includes a Container Status Matrix, which prevents invalid status changes and minimizes operational errors.
Methods for Changing Container Status
1. Manual Change or Import
Statuses can be updated via the button after selecting containers from the list. Alternatively, an Excel file with container numbers can be imported for automatic selection.
2. Port Call Operations
Statuses can be updated from the Port Calls tab in the Voyage card using the following buttons:

(Unstuffing on Board) — Changes the state from ‘Full’ to ‘Empty’ while keeping the
Loadedstatus. The container remains on board.
3. Rolling to Next Voyage
From the Containers tab in the Voyage card, the function can be used to move a container to a new or existing voyage. If no containers remain on board, the voyage can be marked as Completed.
Status Categories
NONE — Initial status for newly created containers.
Ownership (‘Own’ field) is also set toNone.
LEASED — Container is taken on lease. Ownership changes to
Lease. Requires:Lease agreement number;
Port and terminal (optional) where the lease started.
PURCHASED — Container is purchased. Ownership changes to
Own; Lease Agreement field is cleared. Requires:Port and terminal (optional) of purchase.
SHIPPER OWN CONTAINER — Technical status transferring ownership to the shipper (
ShipperOwn). Requires:Port and terminal (optional) where the container is located.
LOADED — Container is loaded onto a vessel (only for containers in Terminal state).
Accessible from Port Calls → in the Voyage card. Requires:Terminal (optional);
Load date;
Discharge port and terminal (optional);
Container condition (‘Full’ or ‘Empty’);
Power connection (optional);
Cargo type (for ‘Full’);
Quantity and freight (optional).
Shipper-owned containers are exempt from location checks.

ROLLED FROM PREVIOUS VOYAGE — Container remains on board from the previous voyage (only for Empty containers). Set via Roll to Next Voyage.

DISCHARGED — Container is unloaded from a vessel (only for containers in Vessel state).
Accessible from Port Calls → . Requires:Discharge date;
Terminal (optional).
Note: All discharged ‘Full’ containers are automatically marked as ‘Empty’.
STUFFED — Cargo is loaded into a container (only in Terminal state).
UNSTUFFED — Cargo is unloaded from a container (only in Terminal state).
GATE OUT — Container is moved out of a port/terminal (only in Terminal state).
GATE IN — Container is moved into a port/terminal (only in Terminal state).
TO REPAIR — Container sent for repair (only in Terminal state).
FROM REPAIR — Container returned from repair (status ‘To Repair’ only).
TO SUBLEASE — Container sent to sublease (only in Terminal state).
FROM SUBLEASE — Container returned from sublease (status ‘To Sublease’ only).
REDELIVERED — Container returned under a lease agreement. Ownership changes to
None.SOLD — Container sold. Ownership changes to
None.STOP — Container operation discontinued.
TOTAL LOST — Container lost or beyond repair. Ownership changes to
Own; Lease Agreement is cleared.
