Containers Selection
The Select Container window is used across the system whenever container selection from a list is required.
The main container list displays containers that match the current filter conditions.
Filter criteria may vary depending on the context (e.g., by port, voyage, container status, or no filter at all — showing all containers in the system).
Import from File
The function allows importing a list of containers from an Excel file:
After clicking the button, a file selection window opens.
The column containing container numbers must be specified.
Once imported, the main list will only display the containers whose numbers are found in the specified column.
Additional lists are generated based on the comparison:
Wrong Containers — Containers present in the file but not found in the original filtered list.
More Available — Containers present in the original list but not listed in the imported file.
Each of these lists includes a button to copy the contents.
Action Buttons
Show All — Restores the main list to its initial state prior to import or deletion.
Delete — Removes the selected containers from the main list.
Find Similar — Opens a search window to help locate the correct container number (often used when a container appears in the ‘Wrong Containers’ list due to entry errors).
