Details

This article describes the main sections of Regular and Refueling daily reports, as summarized in the Object Card article.

In regular daily reports, six main data sections are available for the vessel:

  • Position

  • Destination

  • ROB & Consumption

  • Auxiliary Engines

  • Drafts

  • Weather

Position Section

This section contains information about the vessel’s location and time:

  • Port: Port where (or near which) the vessel is located.

  • Noon Position N: Vessel’s latitude.

  • Noon Position W: Vessel’s longitude.

  • Local Time: Local time at the vessel’s location.

  • GMT: Greenwich Mean Time.

  • Difference: Difference between local time and GMT.

Destination Section

This section provides details about the vessel’s next destination and its movement speed:

  • Next Port: Next port the vessel is heading to.

  • ETA: Estimated time of arrival at the next port.

  • Miles To Go: Distance to the next port (in nautical miles).

  • Sailed Hours: Number of hours the vessel has been moving (since the last DR).

  • Distance: Distance traveled (since the last DR).

  • Speed: Vessel’s speed.

ROB & Consumption Section

This section displays information about the total fuel on board, fuel consumption, and scrubber details:

  • ROB IFO: Total remaining quantity of IFO fuel (without separating IFO 380/180 grades).

  • ROB VLSFO 0,5%: Total remaining quantity of VLSFO fuel.

  • ROB ULSFO 0,1%: Total remaining quantity of ULSFO fuel.

  • ROB LSMGO 0,1%: Total remaining quantity of LSMGO fuel.

  • CONSUMED IFO / VLSFO / ULSFO / LSMGO: Total fuel consumed since the last report.

  • Scrubber Status: Presence and type of a scrubber on the vessel.

  • Scrubber Date/Time: Date and time of scrubber installation.

Auxiliary Engines Section

This section shows the working power and operating hours of up to five auxiliary engines.

Drafts Section

This section provides information about the vessel’s draft and load:

  • Draft F (Forward): Draft at the bow.

  • Draft A (Aft): Draft at the stern.

  • Ballast, MT: Ballast weight in metric tons.

  • Fresh water, MT: Mass of fresh water onboard.

  • GoM, cm: Metacentric height, the distance between the vessel’s center of gravity and its metacenter.

  • Slip, %: Difference between theoretical (based on propeller RPM) and actual speed.

  • RPM (Revolutions Per Minute): Propeller rotation speed.

Weather Section

This section reflects the environmental conditions around the vessel:

  • Prevailing wind direction: Primary wind direction.

  • Beaufort force: Wind force on the Beaufort scale (0-12; 0 – calm, 12 – hurricane).

  • Swell Direction: Direction of the waves.

  • Sea State: Sea condition, wave height in meters.

  • Sea current direction: Direction of the sea current, in clockwise hours (1-12).

  • Sea current intensity: Current strength, in meters per second.

  • Air temperature, °C: Ambient air temperature, in degrees Celsius.

  • Water temperature, °C: Seawater temperature, in degrees Celsius.

On the diagram to the right, a red arrow indicates the wind direction (labeled with the Beaufort force), and a blue arrow shows the current direction (labeled with the current strength).

Refueling daily reports are specific to Bunkering, Correction, NoD, NoR, and Debunkering statuses. They contain the following sections:

Bunkering Section

This section reflects the purchase (or sale) of different types of fuel:

  • Quantity, MT: Amount of fuel bunkered.

  • Price: Price of the fuel.

  • Total: Total cost of the bunkered fuel (Quantity×PriceQuantity × Price ).

  • Total, USD: Total cost of the bunkered fuel in US dollars.

  • Invoice: Linked invoice (requires Accounting Module).

  • Paid by Charterer: Checkbox for charter-out voyages; hides Invoice if checked. The fuel settlement will be handled under the terms of the Notice of Redelivery (NoR).

Match Invoices feature (available if the Accounting Module is enabled) automatically links bunkering invoices issued within ±4 days of the daily report date for each fuel type, if exactly one match is found. This process is performed separately for each fuel type.

Other Expenses Section

This section records additional expenses related to bunkering or debunkering operations.

Correction Fuel Amount Section

This section is only used for Correction reports. It adjusts fuel quantities for vessel reserves and links them to future calculations.

Bunkering and Additional Bunkering Sections (NoD, NoR)

For Notice of Delivery (NoD) and Notice of Redelivery (NoR) reports:

  • Bunkering Section: Records fuel transfer or sale. Fuel Sale column indicates if fuel is sold or transferred.

  • Additional Bunkering Section: Records additional fuel sales or purchases. All entries are treated as fuel sales; price is editable.

For transfers in NoD, use the Bunkering section and uncheck Fuel Sale.
Price is then set to 0 and not editable.
