How to Create a Commission

Commissions are not created as standalone objects. They are always created within a deal and are fully integrated into its financial structure.

Ways to Create a Commission

1. From the Income/Outcome Tab

   • Created via the Add Commission action.

   • Appears in both the Income/Outcome and Commissions tabs. Changes are synchronized automatically.

     

2. From the Commissions Tab

   • Created directly in the Commissions tab of the Deal card.

   • May require linking to a voyage (depending on configuration and deal type).

   • Reflected in the Income/Outcome tab when applicable.

3. Automatic Commission Creation

   • Generated automatically when Chartering Managers are assigned to a deal.

   • Created as percentage-based commissions calculated from Net P&L.
