Fuel Rates

The Fuel Rates feature provides access to fuel price data based on the MABUX exchange index. These rates are used in the calculation of service costs within freight invoices.

The data is sourced from an external provider, updated on a weekly basis, and fixed at the start of the following week.

Data Display

  • Fuel rate data is shown for the selected calendar year, defined in the Year field at the top of the window;

  • The Month and Week tabs switch between monthly and weekly data aggregation;

  • Rates are displayed in a table format and grouped by month or by individual dates, depending on the selected view;

  • Each group header shows the corresponding period (month or week) together with the average fuel price for that period, calculated separately for each fuel type.

Table Columns

  • Date: The date associated with the fuel rate entry.

  • IFO, $/mton: Price of IFO (HSFO) fuel per metric ton.

  • VLSFO, $/mton: Price of VLSFO fuel per metric ton.

  • ULSFO, $/mton: Price of ULSFO fuel per metric ton.

  • LSMGO, $/mton: Price of LSMGO (MGO LS) fuel per metric ton.
