Split Deal by Voyages

The Split Deal by Voyages action allows redistributing voyages from one deal into several deals. The action is available from the More Actions submenu.

Access to this functionality is configured individually for each user in the admin panel:
Company Structure → Users → Settings → Deals tab → Allow split deal.

Action Availability

The action is available only when the selected deal can be used as a source deal.

Splitting is not available in the following cases:

  • The deal contains no voyages in the Income/Outcome tab;

  • The deal is verified;

  • The deal type is one of the following:

    • Goods S&P

    • Forwarding

    • Payment Agency Agreement

Splitting Methods

The action supports two methods of splitting a deal:

  • Create New Deals — Creates new deals based on voyages from the selected deal.

  • Transfer to Existing Deals — Moves voyages from the selected deal to already existing deals.

Create New Deals

This mode creates new deals using voyages from the source deal. The number of deals to be created is defined in the ‘Count of New Deals’ field.

After specifying the number of deals, press button.

Interface Structure

The window contains three main sections:

  • New Deals: Displays the deals that will be created.

    Default values:

    • Deal Number — Inherited from the source deal;

    • Type — Inherited from the source deal;

    • Start Date — Current date.

    These values can be modified using inline editing.

  • Voyages in Existing Deal: Displays all voyages from the source deal.

  • Voyages in New Deal: Displays voyages assigned to the currently selected new deal.

Voyages can be assigned by double-clicking a voyage in either table or by using the arrow buttons between the tables.

Completing the Split

After pressing , the system displays a confirmation dialog: "Are you sure you want to split the deal?"

If confirmed:

  • The specified deals are created;

  • Voyages are moved from the source deal to the new deals;

  • The financial data of the source deal is recalculated.

Transfer to Existing Deals

This mode transfers voyages from the source deal to already existing deals instead of creating new ones.

The window contains three main sections:

  • All Existing Deals: Displays all deals in the system except the source deal.

    Additional columns include:

    • Id — Deal identifier;

    • Count of Voyages from Deal — Number of voyages transferred from the source deal.

  • Voyages in Existing Deal: Displays voyages from the source deal.

  • Voyages in Selected Deal: Displays voyages that will be transferred to the currently selected deal.

Voyages that already exist in the selected deal are highlighted in red. These records are shown for reference and cannot be modified.

After confirmation, voyages are transferred and the financial data of all affected deals is recalculated.

Restrictions and Warnings

Additional system validations apply during the transfer process.

  • If any target deal is currently being edited by another user, the operation cannot be completed.
    The system displays the message:

    "Unable to proceed. The following deals are currently being edited by another user."

  • If a voyage is transferred to a deal that already contains the same voyage, a warning is displayed and the transfer operation is cancelled.
