Create Reconciliation Payment
The Reconcile Accruals action creates a link between two accruals using an intermediary virtual payment.
The purpose is to cross-close outstanding debts between these accruals by applying available funds or remaining balances.
Accruals are divided into two roles:
Source Accrual — The accrual from which funds are deducted;
Destination Accrual — The accrual to which funds are credited.
The reconciliation is always initiated from the Destination Accrual side.

Common Use Cases
Overpayment Usage
The Source Accrual has been overpaid (negative debt). The excess amount is used to cover the debt of Destination Accrual.
Mutual Accrual Settlement
Both parties have issued accruals to each other. Each accrual has an outstanding balance. The parties agree to offset the debts through mutual cancellation.
Prepayment Accrual Handling
A preliminary accrual is issued first, followed by a final accrual with a larger amount. Funds from the prepayment accrual are used to partially cover the final accrual, without changing the balance of the prepayment itself.
