Export Last Bill of Lading

The Export Last BL action allows exporting the last bill of lading in PDF format for selected containers. This action is available from the More Actions submenu.

  • The Last BL displays the number of the most recent bill of lading in which a container was involved.

Export Workflow

Main Sections

When the button is clicked, a dedicated form opens. The form is divided into three sections:

  1. Select Containers: List of all containers in the system.

  2. Last Bills of Lading: List of Last BL entries for the selected containers.

  3. BL Preview: A document preview of the selected Last BL.

Additional Actions

The following actions are available in the Select Containers section:

  • Import from File — Allows importing container numbers from an Excel file.

    • After selecting the file, choose the column that contains container numbers.

    • The system will match the values against existing containers and display the results in the list.

  • Reset Filter — Clears the current container selection and returns the list to its default state, showing all containers in the system.

Interaction Steps

  • In Select Containers section, use the checkbox column to select the containers whose Last BLs need to be exported.

  • Once containers are selected, and if they have associated Last BLs, those entries appear in the Last Bills of Lading list.

  • The BL Preview section shows the document view of the currently selected Last BL.

Generating the Document

  • After reviewing the Last BLs, click the button to create a single document containing all selected Last BLs.

  • A separate preview window will open, displaying the combined document before export.

  • Basic editing options are available in the preview window.

  • The resulting file can be saved as a PDF or sent to print.
